She has the run of our family room and kitchen. At times when we go on the other side of the gate which separates her area from her 'no access' area, she'll bark quite a bit. The Bark Genie has worked great for us. I would say "no bark" and point at her before I pushed the button. She immediately stopped barking after the button was pushed. Now that we've been using it for awhile, I can either just show her the device or just point and say "no bark" and her barking will cease. If she is super excited I still may need to use it. It's just a great feeling to know that if Harley gets on a barking jag, it will won't be long until she is under control. I have read the the Bark Genie does not work for every dog but it does work for our Harley. I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to get their dog's barking under control because of the money back guarantee.
I am so glad that it worked for you!!! I do hope it works for the people here who are going to try it. I know what you mean about it being a great feeling. I can't tell you how relieved I am to have this device. I was just so at my wit's end! I would totally tense up the minute we got in the car to go home from work, KNOWING that it was going to start when we got onto the main street. I am sure she picked up on my tenseness, but I couldn't help it. I would drive my car with one hand on the wheel and the other hand holding her down in the bucket, even though she was clipped in because she would go so crazy I was afraid she WOULD try and hurl herself out the window. It was really unhealthy for both of us.

Anyway, maybe it does work better on these smaller dogs!
