Good to hear he is active. Does his body appear to be in good shape, not underweight?

My only concern would be supplementing his diet with so much chicken, or ground beef, that he is not getting the proper balance of nutrients that dogs require. For instance, dogs need the phosphorus from protein sources balanced by the right amount of calcium (from other sources).

Many people here homecook and use a vitamin/mineral supplement called BalanceIt. They use recipes from https://www.petdiets.com/

Relative to the kibble, you may have to encourage him to eat it. I had to play games and hand feed Max his first year. The thing that cured him was bringing home another Yorkie who got into his food bowl.

Also, make sure the kibble sitting out gets replaced regularly. Premium kibble goes stale and spoils faster. If the kibble is sitting out all day, it may not be palatable to your little boy.
What she said .

The main concern is whether this is a properly balanced diet, or at least close to it.
