As long as you keep kibble out for him,if he is really hungry he will eat. The problem with these lil critters is, they play us lol, they know if they don't eat the dog food, we will give them the good stuff chic or beef lol, I have been there more tomes then I care to remember, my concern always was, I will do what ever to get them to eat. 3.3 lbs is cause for concern to get them to eat, my lastgirl was 17 lbs, if she didn't eat her reg. food, off to the market to buy chic. outlets, and she was not a picky eater. If your vet has no concern, then you are dong a good job. My lil adopted boy will eat what ever I give him, I am truly blessed... He is fed dry kibble and he loves it, he is fed at 7AM and again at 5PM. He is not a walked dog, he has freedom to relieve him self anytime he wants, he goes 3 to to 4 times a day.Sometimes it's just a small amount. I use to walk my dogs when I lived in an apartment they were walked in the morning at 7:30AM before I went to work and again at 4:30PM when I came home, they pooped in the AM and in the PM. If you walk him twice a day he should poo at those times, if he has freedom like my Cody he can poop more then 2 times,BUT, he should have one bowel movement at least once a day. If any of my dogs did not poop for one day, and the next morning no poop, I would have been at my vet, this how ever never happened with 8 dogs I have had.
