Updating this thread - is anyone currently using a mobile groomer? Mine charges $85. She is not the franchise owner. I've used her a few times and have been pleased. I've tipped $10-15 each time and will continue to always tip. But how much? Is it like a hairdresser and you tip 15-20%? Honestly, that much (fee + tip) would prevent me from using her as frequently as I'd like. But not sure my $10 is appropriate given the $85.00 fee.
And believe me, I have tried to groom myself, but too many bad haircuts have led to this current hot (but very lovable) mess! We need professional help at this time!
Suggestions? Btw, $85 is their standard fee for any size/type dog. |
