If we are all wrong and we have nothing to fear, and we can not catch the disease unless we are hands on with critically ill patients (which I doubt, because that camera man that has it now, was not in direct contact handling sick patients or their human excrement), then fine, we are safe and there is no massive outbreak of ebola....it is just inconvient for the hero that chose to do this. BUT, if THEY are wrong, the results are catastrophic, and then what do we do, run around wailing, "But you said it would not happen!!!"
We must err on the side of caution. We can not risk the health of the entire country/State/city, just to do an honor dance around these "heros", that are so irresponsible, they could care less what the rest of us are experiencing with all this ebola mess. If they want to expose themselves fine.....but the line is drawn there, at the very least until there is a CURE for the disease.
You want a REAL hero??? We have a Marine, a decorated Marine, that is sitting in a Mexican jail for 6 months, and no one even mentions his name! |
