I remember I took Magic in swimming during a show weekend, and my breeder about fainted and chewed me out, because river water softens what should be a firm or slightly harsh coat. And well when I blew him dry, his coat was way too soft.
I remember for Purina with Razzle, the first day we washed him, my breeder was in tears as I was, his coat was so dry, so fly away, just not like the true silk coat we both knew he had. Well we adjusted, and that night we re-washed Razzle in Distilled Water, and used a highly dense concentrated conditioner, he won Group 3 or 4 that next day, and his coat was back to his normal for him.
So the point is the quality of the water you have has a huge impact on the coat, find the find shampoo n conditioner for your water and coat type |
I remember when you had the water nightmare with Razzle's coat while traveling for shows. Our water quality here went downhill in the past year. Both humans and doggies are suffering in terms of hair condition. It has affected which products work better than others.
