I am sooooo glad your pup is ok, this could have gone bad...I do know someone that this happened to, when the 25lb dog ate a joint (do they still call them that?) this is a good lesson and I bet you are right.
Have to admit I giggled my but off at reading the pot part...ONLY after I saw your pup was ok!!!
I'm so glad it worked out so well, vacuum the hell out of that place. Also get on your hands and knees and crawl around and get a pups eye view. Get rid of freestanding heavy things like large Vases, freestanding mirrors etc., all little knick knacks that can break or be chewed, also look up....heavy pics, mirrors etc., on the wall? I might be a tad overboard, but I've heard so many stories through the years.
