Not with the possibility of her being pregnant. Number one, it was possibly a large dog that she was with, and number two, if we let it go and the puppies were viable, I would not wish to abort ....then it would be even longer before she could have the surgery on her ears. Not to mention the fact that she could die having those puppies. Ideally, both surgeries could have been done at the same time, but as I said in the original post, the surgeon at GCVS who does this surgery was out of town this week and the surgery while important, was not an emergency that would make me drive to Texas A&M for it as that would have been the only other option. And, honestly, I much prefer the surgeon at GCVS who does these surgeries. She is totally awesome!
She is being medicated for her discomfort.
