Mobility improved within a week or two, pain relief was achieved probably a week or so after I started the Dasuquin. Her activity level was much better in about 2 weeks and contined to get better until shewas not hesitant to get up and join any of us outside. Then, as she aged, the arthritis in her back and hips started to worsen....I switched to the GlyCo-Flex III when I noticed her beginning to not want to join any of us outside....she just wanted to walk around the house, and spend most of the day laying around. I was at the vet one day with a pregnant female, and there was a lady in there with her doxy that could not walk....young dog, only a couple years old. They were trying to just buy her time until they could take the dog to surgery for her disc/back. Vet put her on GlyCo-Flex....I was back in the vet a week after my litter had whelped for newborn checkups....and that lady and her doxy walked in....no, TROTTED in, with all the enthusiasm of a puppy! She was gushing on and on to the vet about how "Gretchen" was running around the yard and even running up and down the stairs, something she had not done in a year! So I immediately ordered Aija some and she was soooooo much better after a week, and continued to improve....she was 12 years old at that time, had been on Cosequin around 6-10, Dasuquin from 10-12 years old, and she was on the GlyCo-Flex III until she passed from me at almost 17. These times may be off a little because of my senior memory.....but they are close! The GlyCo-Flex comes in 3 strengths...Aija went straight to the strongest, the III, becqause she had been getting meds for her arthritis for so long! (That doxy didnt have to undergo surgery for a couple of years!)
