Those do look large to me. Just to err on the safe side, would you mind potentially returning the product to your retailer to exchange for a bag from a different date code (which should not be afflicted by the same issue) or your money back, once I can authorize that transaction for you? In the meantime, I’ll bring the issue to the attention of our operations manager so that he can take it up with production to make sure that the proper die plates are being used. If they are, there should be no reason that product bigger than an eighth of an inch should pass through. However, if they used the wrong die plate, that would explain the presence of these larger bone fragments.
In order to get you an exchange or a return, I’ll just need to know at what retailer you purchased your product. Once I receive that, I’ll reach out to them to authorize the exchange or return for you with them, whichever you prefer.
