Just wanted to tell you - I *totally* feel your pain! We had our Marcel allergy tested and tried to then give him shots - and we could NOT do it - and he's ONLY 3 pounds, and I'm a nurse, lol! He gets shots just fine at the vets - no prob; but if his Mom and Dad try to give him one at home, he loses his mind. We actually had to stop trying and went to sublingual drops.
I feel so bad for you bc I know you have to find a way to do this. I'd keep trying - and keep going back to the vets for more lessons or whatnot. I hope others have more helpful suggestions for you.
