I am sorry....I was the infection control nurse for the last 5 years at the hospital I worked at....I doubt very seriously there is ANYTHING you can tell me about infections, how they are spread, or infection control management! I may "be wrong again" though...what exactly did you say YOUR qualifications are? Do you actually think for one minute that you can prevent the spread of ebola from an infected person, by simply covering your sneeze with a tissue????????? "Managed without a mask"???????????? Surely to goodness, you do not think a "germ" is THAT easily contained!!!!!!!!!!! That is the problem with the public....they do not know how easily contaminated droplets are spread and picked up. Ask Nina, the nurse that is positive for ebola, about germs and how they cover everything and spread so easily...she was covered head to toe, with a small section of her NECK exposed....and she was trained to deal with contamination and isolation and she got it!!!! And that doctor that got infected....they said he was the most cautious and careful and meticulously clean practice around this disease, and HE got it!!! You think covering your mouth with a tissue is the solution???? Please, dont kid yourself....if a tissue could prevent the spread of this disease, my God, you have solved the crisis surrounding the initial spread of ebola, single handedly!
