This is so sad.
I'm always amazed that people will just flat out ask how much my dog costs, and sometimes I feel as if they are looking at Dinky as some sort of expensive purse they might grab.
In those cases, I spread misinformation. I tell them most pet Yorkies are not really that expensive. I tell them that with Dinky's floppy ears and coloring that he is no show dog, and that besides no one would pay anything for one as old as he is.
I tell them we got a real bargain with him because he has so much wrong with him.
I really can't imagine how anyone could steal a pet for love or money. |
