Any enlightenment on diet would be much appreciated as I don't want him malnourished and feel he's headed that way. I'm glad I joined this forum and sure I will learn much from all who have gone through the same thing I'm dealing with. I will post more as I get more info. Thanks again.
It is very important that you don't guess on the diet. If you don't wish to do a nutrition consult, I would stick with a prescription food.

I would not give any enzymes myself....never had to do that with Cookie and never heard of it for PLN.

It is overwhelming at first. I was a basket case because it used to be pretty much a death sentence. I did not realize just how far they have come in understanding and treating it. I have since met others whose pups have PLE and are doing just fine! At first, I ran Cookie to the vet so many times to have her blood work done...all she had to do was look weird and I was off to the vet. I have since calmed down. LOL All I can say is that it does get easier.
