 Protein Losing Enteropathy
Hi All -
I am new to this site. I have a 4 year old neutered male yorkie. He is the apple of my eye. His name is Lil man. I have had a lot of ups and downs with Lil mans health - he has Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I recently
had him in for check up - blood work- up - dental cleaning. His blood work up came back with low b12 vitamin and non existent b9 (folic acid). so we are getting injections for b12 and taking folic acid orally. He is currently on budesonide - coticosteriod steriod (ugg - dont like) every other day. Vet said he now had Protein Losing enteropathy. Has anybody else had to deal with this? Any help suggestions diet, supplements greatly appreciated.
