Default Happy with Dasuquin supplement for LP

Maggie May is 4 yrs old and was born with LP in both legs. We rescued her about 5 weeks ago. She does not appear to be in pain or limp, but she was a bit lethargic for her age. Our vet said surgery would only be necessary if she ever shown signs of discomfort. For now, he put her on Dasuquin and the results have been amazing. She is much more active! Dasuquin looks like a treat, and we give her half a piece each day (the dosage is a full treat for dogs over 10 pounds, and maggie is 7 pounds). The package says that after 4-6 weeks you can just do every other day. We got this from our vet, the bag has 84 treats in it and was about $45 i think. Obviously talk to you own vet about dosages. I just wanted to share for fur babies that have LP and need a supplement to possibliby avoid surgery all together (thats the hope, right?!)
