Default Anyone have a dog with kcs

My dog has kcs and Sjögren's syndrome, he is not a candidate for the surgery because he doesn't make normal saliva either.

He always seems to have a hard time with the change of seasons, but this time its way worse.
He is on tacrolimus 2x a day but we added a third time per the eye specialist.
I also use sustain drops, pure food grade mineral oil, genteal, and B andL soothe ointment. All approved by the eye specialist. Nothing seems to be helping him. The eye specialist is out of town until Tuesday we have an appointment then. My regular vet doesn't treat his eye condition we have always gone to the eye specialist as he was always getting infections. He has no infection no discharge at all and his cornea is clear just dry. I have a humidifier on in the room he is in. He is eating ok but won't use the steps and doesn't want to go outside. I feel so bad for him. Any suggestions would be great.
