Terriers tend to age well, remain active throughout life. The first year, a Yorkie tends to be very energetic and requires a lot of attention. I felt like I had a human baby, a very mobile toddler.

The second year is easier. My boys are now 5 and almost 6. They still need lots of activity, but I don't have to worry about what they are doing every second.
