Something else to consider is, renal failure can make then nauseous. Maybe that's why she doesn't want to eat. I would talk to your vet about putting her on something. I made a Zantac suspension for Bear per my vet's instructions and gave that to him twice daily. Famotidine also is a good option. It made a huge difference in how much Bear ate.
