thank you all for your suggestions. She exerts so much energy fighting the pills and biting that it's not as easy as it used to be when she was younger--I could even brush her teeth once a week--no more! She doesn't go crazy for anything right now tho she did gnaw on a greenie. I have fluids I will do tonight subq and hopefully this will make her feel better and she'll eat and take the azodyl. She does act interested in the kitchen or whatever I have on my plate but when it gets close to her mouth she just turns away or spits it out. She's lost another 6 ounces in a week! The acidosis is very taxing. |
