Is it any wonder I think the world if you all...?! The 'noises' stopped last night and Piper seems fine. We went for a 45 minute, Piper-paced (quick) walk and no wheezing, gagging, nothing but normal panting. Thank you for your helpful and calming advice...I don't know if Piper's little beak is long or short--it seems to sit on her face just right! But I think you're onto something with that bit of info. She does get outa control excited upon my return so I'll try to be a bit more subdued upon re-entry. And yes, we have had rain recently in Nevada. Piper is up-to-date on shots, et al...And I'll listen to the YouTube video for comparison, but the description sounds like what I told my vet. Thank you everyone for your quick and reassuring responses--simply cannot tell you how very much it means to me to know I have wonderful, wise, supportive resources/people at my fingertips!
