I hate to say it most pups are different, my last two could hold it from the first night I had them which was about 14 weeks, however two others of mine on most nights could not throughout their whole life. But I will say most should be able to hold it by at least 6 months. Lola my present pup often does not look to go out before 10 in the morning because after I get up she goes right back to bed, often I make her go out long before she would ask to be let out. LOL wish I had her bladder, I go about 3 times more than her and can't hold it at night
