This mans honor flew right out the window when he lied right then, and denied on that travel document that he had been exposed to anyone with ebola. He could have prevented all of this by simply waiting the 21 days to see if he did indeed get enough exposure to get the virus himself. But no, he decided to take the course of action he did. There is NO honor in what he did from that moment forward. This is exactly why this disease is rampant across Africa because people have no concern for what the consequences could be if they walk around all over the country, infected with the disease. Hopefully, he has not spread that disease anyplace else in Europe or in Texas. His SECOND opportunity to be honorable was just as calliously disregarded when he kept his mouth shut and walked out of that emergency room, at which point in time he WAS contageous. I believe he knew what he had at that point in time, and he should have insisted he be admitted and isolated....all he would have had to say is, I was closely exposed to a patient with ebola and now I am sick....the hospital would have certainly double checked his admitting history and acted accordingly. Now, I am hearing various lawyers and the ACLU are beginning to say "the poor family that is being quaranteened in that apartment are having their freedoms trampled on. The poor children cant go to school, the poor family are under guarded lock and key, this is just so unfair to them." Give me a break!!!

Oh I totally agree with you. I'm sitting here watching CNN and they have a hazmat team at the apartment and have all tge famlies belonging loaded into a semi in the parking lot inside steel drums. There was also a car wrapped in plastic and hazmat tape. They haven't decided what to do with all this stuff. The CDC isn't messibg around that's for sure as they shouldn't So much for wiping an ambulance down..... Just saying
