My boys are like Joey and have been eating pretty much the same simple diet for 5 years. Same main kibble with very limited treats/additions in very small quantities. Although they are big boys, we split the food into 3 meals a day.

I also agree that I would be a little leery of sweet potato for a dog with a history of pancreatitis.
