I'm glad to hear Busta made it through his colitis ordeal.

I know how truly scare it is. My ZoE had what the vet thought was colitis last year. I wrote about it in this thread http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...-er-visit.html

I'd never seen a dog go downhill so quickly. I was terrified I was losing her.

It took a good few weeks for her to get completely back to normal. It was chicken and rice for days, then slowly adding more and more of her kibble and less of the chicken and rice, until she was primarily back on her kibble. The vet said we had to give her insides time to heal on the bland food before her usual treats were introduced back into her diet, like apple, carrot, cheese, banana, etc.
