Bumping this thread since it is
Breast Cancer Awareness month! It has been a scary year for me ... had to deal with a blood/possible leukemia type issue, hair loss and my teeth are a mess. I had medical insurance, but no dental and am scraping pennies together to pay for my dental work that is in the thousands. BUT, I am alive and kicking! I was a bit stupid and played Russian Roulette with my health.....and I suppose you could say I was lucky to have caught it when I did: BUT it could have been picked up so much sooner if I had just had my mammograms as I should have.
PLEASE LET THIS SERVE AS A REMINDER TO GET YOUR MAMMOGRAMS!!
If you don't have money for one, there are many places that offer them low cost and/or free. I believe all insurances cover them.
