I have a few friends and family that are absolutely amazed that Kaji never runs out the door. If I leave the gate or front door wide open, he doesn't leave or the farthest he'll go is a good sun spot on my front porch. One word from me and he's inside again. Yep! This is how Jackson is too... I just don't worry too much. Do I trust him off leash like... anywhere? In a new place? No, lol... he is a sniffer and wanderer sometimes, BUT, we can have doors open, etc, he's not going to go 'FREEDOMMM'! He just ignores it and acts like it's no big deal.
I took a video a while ago with us practicing, as I like to do every once in a while just to 'freshen up' - of course the phone died too early, but you get the idea... lol

But Jax has gone his whole life with walking in stores and public places, it just comes so natural to him. I always feel for for the dogs who cower, or are extremly fearful, or barking/lunging etc because it's just a scary thing for them.
