I find it intriguing that in so many other countries, dogs being around all over is just a normal every day occurrance. I remember reading a travel site of a woman who went to... Italy? I believe with her dog and when she would call to ask if her dog was allowed, most of the time they were confused and met with a "duh! of course they are!" response. Apparently you see dogs curled around tables at pubs/restaurants/etc all the time, on trains, buses, etc.
I believe one of the reasons so many dogs are misbehaved in the US is because likely 90% of dogs in the US never leave their own yard and house. Again, NOT saying it's "bad" or "cruel" in any way. Just an observation. |
