Sorry, I don't have any answers for you. I just wanted to say, accidents happen. Don't beat yourself up. I accidently knocked my Toby down the steps one time. Just as I went to step down, he ran in front of my foot and I hit him just hard enough for him to lose his balance and fall down 10 steps and land on the concrete floor. I, of course, felt horrible and was totally panicked but luckily he was okay. That's one of the bad the things about these little guys, they're easy to miss and tend to get underfoot.
