Come on, Judy, you are not going to get shoulder problems and even if you do, a few days of some shoulder trouble will be far outweighed by the horrible weeks of not being able to breathe, headache, chills/sweats, face-ache, sore throat, body aches, pains, coughing until your toenails come out your mouth, exhaustion/fatigue and high fever with diarrhea and vomiting, which I get from high fever as well as from some of the medicine the docs give me. I was sick for a whole month the last time I got it years back and still remember one Sunday night, I just had to sit up all night because I was fighting so hard to breathe. I honestly was working to take in each breath for two to three hours and too scared to lie down once that passed! It's not worth skipping a few days discomfort for the agony of two weeks to a month of the flu if you get a bad case that has any complications.

Now get yourself that flu shot, woman!

OMG I was going to wait till Oct.1st to get mine, after reading this I am getting it tomorrow. Thanks for the details of the flu.
