I asked my vet once because some young pups I had were urinating yellow and some were urinating clear.

I agree it doesnt hurt to ask your vet to be sure. but I was always told the same thing, it just means they are drinking alot of water. Sounds kind of gross, but you can tell the difference with your own urine from the same thing. If your dehydrated your urine will usually be a real dark yellow/ orange, but when you drink a lot of water it will be almost clear if not completely clear.
