I'm very sorry to hear about your situation... I wish I knew how to help but Ive never owned a yorkie, and i'm actually looking for a female yorkie as a lifelong companion
I don't work right now and i have a little sister who loves dogs as well... If by ANY chance you decide you can't keep her please let me know
