I had to carry Momo around the day after his neuter. He was running around, jumping on the sofa (we have stairs but he'll jump up & take the stairs going down). I thought he was accidentally going to bust open the surgery site, which was glued. The only time he stood still was when I gave him his pain meds. It was torb-val, an opiate, so it made him stare out into doggie space & it also made him pant. It scared me, so I only gave it to him for 1 day, 3 x's & that was it. |
He is doing great! He is still acting like nothing was done. I have with me in my office and he runs around like crazy. Thank goodness he can't jump up on anything. Remy is on Metacam 1 x a day for pain but if you ask me I don't think he needs it anymore. I still have 2 doses left to give him and I'm wondering if I should even give him the last 2 doses. He wants to play with the cat but I won't let him. However, I have a baby gate up and she jumps over it to see him and to be with us. They are my second set of crazy kids lol.
