It's 94 degrees here now and I'm losing hope. NFL football starts tonight but I'm beginning to wonder if fall is on its way at all. Just got back from an appt., lunch and some errands and it's hot out there and people are kinda cranky for Texans! I'm steamed we're still so hot. All I can say is fall better get here before long!!! I've had enough of sunshine, sunshine, sunshine and non-stop heat. Even though this has been a "mild" Texas summer there should be a limit on how many days cowboys 'n girls have to put up with over 90 degree temps!!!. wah, I want cool air, falling leaves, to hear the sounds of the high school band practicing for Friday's game wafting through the air early in the mornings, to wear a rust-colored sweater, gray wool slacks and knee-length boots not the constant sound of lawn-mowers and everybody in eternal sunglasses, shorts and tank or crop-tops !!! Please, Mother Nature!!! Cut us some slack!

If it makes you feel any better, our high was 86 today in San Antonio.
