Does anyone know about GPS locators - not just a normal microchip, but a dependable GPS locator that can be planted in the skin or on the collar of the dog?

On another note make sure to keep them safe from predators as well - Coyotes , hawks, and owls. I lost one last week to a coyote and have been crying nonstop
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and the horrible circumstance, please accept my condolences.

In the UK we have the usual collar attachment type medallion GPS tag. Not a lot of use for a stolen recovery, as presumably the thief would just discard the tag? I'm thinking of getting one - it works from a sim card and they cost about $80, but cheaper ones are a third of that? Could be useful in the case of a run off etc.
