I'm sorry that you and poor Gracie have to go through this! But, she is probably better off with a break! A break is pretty straight forward and should heal just fine! Our lab had a dislocated hip from being hit by a car and he had to have two surgeries and he still has problems, a few years later. Strains or sprains are sometimes worse than a break, and take longer to heal. So, hopefully Gracie will have a quick and uncomplicated recovery. Don't let your husband blame himself, these little guys are just so quick! The day we went to meet Tucker at the breeder he was about 8 weeks old and I was sitting in the chair, holding him on my lap. All of a sudden, he just dove into thin air! I was able to catch him, but he scared me half to death! Happy thoughts are going out to Gracie for a speedy recovery!
