m-ping, I almost lost my Piper Girl after giving her Trifexis. She has liver damage and is on medication twice a day. Piper Girl was only 5 months old at the time she got sick. It was a miracle that she was saved. And lots of money. We maxed out all our credit cards to save her. She is 9 months old today. We don't know how much damage was done to her liver. We have to have her liver counts done once a month to make sure she is doing ok. We will never know for sure what caused this to happen. But, she was fine until we gave her Trifexis. The Dr. told me if Piper was a human that she would be at St. Johns on a liver transplant list. I don't want to give you false hope. But, if there is any way you can afford to take her somewhere else she could still have a chance. |
