 Liver Problem
Our Maggie May quit eating last Thursday and started vomiting. Took her to vet and they gave me anti nauseu medicine. No better by Saturday. Took her back to vet for bloodwork and levels were off the chart and sent me to emergency vet clinic in Indy. They did a ultrasound and found her liver to be 30% of a normal one. She is 5 years old. The only problem we ever had was her bad reaction to Trifexa, vomiting and diarea. That was about 6 months ago. She has been fine ever since. They do not seem to know what is causing it and have given up. They said they could do a biopsie but she might not survive. I have read that trifexa causes liver problems. Has anyone out there had this problem? I will let you know what happens. We are bringing her home tomorrow for her final days. Maggies mom and dad. |
