I am sure that your hub is not sneaking treats, he would have been warned after the last mishap with food and treats. Daisy had a nasty attack on her system and is just taking time to get the bad stuff out and her tum healed.
If she is still a bit queasy you might ask the vet if she should have a few days of Prescription canned food like, for example, Hills ID until she is completely well. Chick/rice is not a complete food alone. I have always had good results with the Hills for tum upsets.
