IMO if it's on the rim of the eyelid I'd let my vet remove it. If the growth was actually on the eye I'd go to a specialist. Doodlebug has a very small skin tag like growth on his lower lid that I just noticed the other day. He will be going for a dental within the next few weeks and I plan on discussing this with the vet. I would not hesitate to have him remove it if he felt it needed to be.
