Mon. he asks do I want a break, I ask what he means, he says he would like to take Cody with him on his trip to RI. lol, I tell him I would be worried to death to have him out of my sight for 2 minutes let alone a month. No one watches my baby like I do, I trust no one. I take him all over with me unless I go food shopping. If he cannot go where I go, then I don't go. I am looking to put him in doggie day care, just to socialize him with other dogs. I would LOVE it if he enjoyed playing with other dogs We have a new dog park that I would love to bring him to. I don't know how he gets along with other dogs. When I take him into Pet Supplies he goes into crazy mode, like he wants to fight. I have to think hard on this,I know it would be good for him to get along with other dogs, but the thought I would not be there to supervise or protect if needed worries me. So glad Sheldon is ok. | When I take Lexi to petco she does the same thing. Goes crazy and starts growling at other dogs. You would think she wants to attack. But when I take her to obedience class she is great with the other dogs. It's hard to tell until you actually give them a chance to socialize with others without holding them back. I realized it was me holding her back that makes her go crazy and growl, but I'd I just let her go up to the dog she is fine. Even at class a couple times when I pulled her away from another dog she would start to bark and growl. |
