This has been passed around on the internet. The only thing I have to say about it is that, as you said, one should always consult with your vet prior to giving any meds. The benadryl dosage is much lower than what I have been told to give....so that is another reason to question this. Too little benadryl may not get the desired benefit. Most vets are more than happy to answer the telephone questions of their clients. Those of you who find this useful should take it to your vet next time you go and ask for feedback on it!
