I'm guessing they get the sample from you as soon as you walk in the office and check in. The stool sample check doesn't take long. The vet probably has the results by the time you even go back to meet with the vet. One time I went and the vet was just checking her over and someone popped in to tell her the results of the stool sample were negative. They just might wait till the end to tell you?
