How heartbreaking to hear such devastating news. I am so sorry you are going thru this. Please, contact your breeder....no breeder that has any compassion at all...never mind ethics or integrity....will sit by or walk away, when one of their babies is diagnosed with such a terrible disease, resulting in such a devastating outcome. Additionally, your breeder needs to know she has a breeding pair that has produced this problem. Hopefully, she will help support you during this terrible circumstance that is a result of a puppy she produced and sold to you. As a breeder, we understand that something unplanned and unforseen can always crop up, but this is why so much effort and study and research and planning goes into our pedigrees and lines for many generations back, and breeding pairs, so we can avoid such outcomes. When these outcomes do appear, your breeder needs to know what she has produced, and she will most certainly want to be there with you, support you, and even stewp up and do something to "make this right"......What is the actual diagnosis given to you? There are many people on here that have a wide involvement with many, many different vets, from all over this country.....there may be different solutions available to you. Hopefully, we can help you through this. |
