Just got heartbreaking news my yorkie most likely has auto immune disease of some sort and is on high doses of prednisone for next few weeks. She was runt of litter and weighs in only 3 pds st 14 months. The neurologist did blood work ruling out most bacterial, viral and curable diagnosis with Antibiotics. Take her back in 3 weeks to see if any remission but understand this most likely fatal in deciding when to let her go. Right now she walking in wide circles to right and right eye wants to wander to the right. Heartbroken and limited funds (tho my understanding is not much to be done anyways. Has anyone had success after steroids with diet or some other homeopathic treatment?? Anyone else have yorkie turn around with this? Everything I read is they rarely make it to their second birthday.
