UPDATE:
After three days of pain medication, Wicked is showing signs of improvement. He is able to leap over the one step without hesitation and is slowly going back to his playful self. I will continue to monitor him as I am not sure if the medication is just a temporary fix. I will wait two more week before attempting to pick him up. My heart aches every time he cries.
