I have to agree. When Buster has tarry stools it was because he had parasites which only could be diagnosed with a fresh stool sample. I was also concerned that your Vet vaccinated when your dog was having issues. I almost lost Buster because the first Vet I had did that when he had kennel cough and it made him very sick where he had to be hospitalized. I know you are looking out for your baby but some Vet's are not as up to date on the newest vaccine protocols and since Yorkies are so tiny they can have adverse reactions easier because many of the vaccines are not dosed for the size of the dog but one dose fits all.
I am glad to hear the stools are firm now. Buster liked his Orijen but it was too rich for him. I now feed him Amicus for small and mini breeds which he loves. I know you are concerned with feeding the best but I found sometimes the best did not agree with Buster and some he just refused to eat the best.
