Hi Twanie I would be concerned with the yelps and Wicked being cautious as showing something is going on. Buster was diagnosed with luxating patellas (back knees slip out of the joint) and arthritis when he was only 6 months old. Since Wicked yelps when you try to pick him up it sounds like bigger issues. Honestly steroids only mask pain and swelling from my own knee experience so if Wicked is playing he could continue to aggravate his problem. I would recommend you take him to a Board Certified Orthopedic Vet to figure out what is going on. Best wishes to you and Wicked and I hope he is feeling better soon.
