Or if she had a stomach bug and the bland diet helped her that could have been what helped her. I really don't think to much of a food like the little amount more that you were giving her could do that and if it did I would think that food does not agree with her and could be not good for her body. I personally would not give a food to my dog that just slight bit over what she is supposed to have gave her bloody diarrhea. A lot of puppies get free fed and eat more then the recommended amount and that doesn't give them bloody diarrhea. I'm glad she is better but I do not feel it was the food and if it was I certainly would not continue giving it to her.
