Just thinking about this more:
I believe the anger toward eBay in this matter is misplaced. Their only interest is compliance with laws and regulation. Keeping up with the regulation of animals/stud services sales is beyond what should be expected of eBay. Think of how AKC struggles just to keep up with registration and limited oversight of breeding.
APHIS regulations are the issue of debate.
Is there anything stopping breeders from forming their own central online sales/advertising site if it is so desired?
Feel free to point out if I am misunderstanding any of this.
